What kind of oil can I use?

For each cookie dough flavor, most neutral-tasting oils can be used instead of vegetable oil. (They can also be made without oil : recipe).

You can experiment with your favorites, but here are some that we’ve tested already:

Some oils that work well include:

Canola oil

Avocado oil

Light Olive oil

Coconut oil (when mixed 50/50 with another liquid oil)

Some oils that add a mild flavor:

Grapeseed oil

Some oils that don’t work as well:

Hemp oil

Coconut oil (by itself)

Margarine
