3 ways to make Oil-free Chocolate Chip Cookies
Use apple sauce, bananas, or date syrup to make Sugarblocs chocolate chip cookies oil-free!
First, pour the sugar mix from the dough kit into a bowl or into the box that it came in.
Add 7 Tablespoons of your fruit sauce of choice (apple sauce, banana, or date syrup*) and 4 Tablespoons of water to the sugar, then mix well to dissolve the sugar.
* Buy date syrup or make it yourself by soaking dried dates in water & pureeing them. You can boil the puree to thicken.
Add the flour mix to the sugar mix, then stir to form a dough.
Form 1-1.5 inch cookie dough balls, and place on a lined baking sheet at least 2 inches apart from each other.
Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 °F/180 °C.
Let cool for at least 5 minutes, and enjoy your freshly baked dessert!
